Last Tuesday we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with the 4th grade classes! We saw penguins, starfish, leopard sharks, seahorses, octopi, and otters. Our day started with an epic bus ride and watching Finding Nemo. Then we went to watch a presentation on sharks. After that we ate lunch, and finally got to explore the aquarium. Students liked the sea otter exhibit, the giant octopus, the open sea exhibit, and the penguins! The teachers liked the exhibit on Viva Baja...they said "It was like being on vacation in Mexico...the fish were beautiful and colorful!" Some students got a penguin to follow their finger by putting their hand on the window. They thought it was fun and cool! All too soon, we had to leave! Blog Post by E.M. (4th grade)
Random Thoughts for the week: Fish are awesome, hydration stations are cool..(and so is the water!) and sometimes you need order!
